Computer Stuff I have lots of hobbies, here I'll try to interest other people in some of them (I can get pretty enthusiastic about my hobbies).

Hobbies We talk about anything other than our work (although 'Travel' includes some of our travel for our 'work'); including general thoughts on almost anything, travel and hobbies.

Since I have a batchelor's degree in Computer Science and since I've interested in 'computers' since they were terribly expensive (although I've spent a pretty penny on computers over the years) I'm still interested (even though I retired from professional programming several years ago). I still keep my hand in with programming. I've tried some hardware work with an Arduino, but implementng what I wanted seemed to be too difficult; I have a high tolerance for frustration, but not too high. My next attempt at hardware will probably be a Raspberry Pi (look it up). I've also had a interest in 'Ham' radio for years. I've not been able to push myself to get a license, but you don't need a license to listen. I've had lots of different radios over the years and my current radio is a very wide range (from 150 KHz to 2.5 GHz) computer controlled radio. I don't spend a lot time with it, but that can change at any minute.
