Grand Canyon from Whitmore Wash to Lake Mead
Here we have some pictures from a Grand Canyon rafting trip taken in 2009.
Peg went to Las Vegas for a Summer Symposium and we then booked a 3 day trip to the Grand Canyou. They flew us from a small airport in North Las Vegas to the Bar 10 Ranch where we were entertained and fed and bedded down for the night. The next morning we got up and took a helocopter to the river at Whitmore Wash where we were met by two large motorized rafts with all our gear. We spent the next night at a large sand bar on the river and were met the next afternoon by a jet boat that took us to a bus that got us back to our hotel in Las Veas.
